Codersly SEO Pro is a premium WordPress SEO extension for managing SEO meta, schema, sitemap, robots.txt, redirects, 404 monitoring, WooCommerce SEO, AI-powered SEO workflow, and Cloud Publisher workflow from the WordPress dashboard.

Installation
Required Plugins
- Codersly SEO — Free/base plugin
- Codersly SEO Pro — Premium extension plugin
Install Codersly SEO Free
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New.
- Search for Codersly SEO.
- Click Install Now.
- Click Activate.
Install Codersly SEO Pro
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
- Upload the Codersly SEO Pro ZIP file.
- Click Install Now.
- Click Activate Plugin.
- After activation, open Codersly SEO → License and activate your license.
License Activation
Codersly SEO Pro requires an active license to unlock premium features based on the purchased plan.
- Go to WordPress Dashboard → Codersly SEO → License.
- Enter your license key.
- Click Activate License.
- After successful activation, the plugin will check your subscription plan and unlock the available menus and tabs.
License Recheck
If your subscription plan is changed from the Codersly panel, click Validate / Check License or deactivate and activate the license again. The plugin will re-sync your plan and feature access.
Plans & Access
Codersly SEO Pro supports two main workflow types: Use Your Own API and Done For You Publishing.
Use Your Own API
This plan is for users who want to connect their own AI provider API key. The user pays the AI provider directly and uses AI features from the plugin.
- AI Content menu is unlocked.
- AI Audit menu is unlocked.
- AI Settings menu is unlocked.
- Cloud Publisher menu is hidden for Own API users.
- Codersly AI quota is not consumed.
Done For You Publishing
This plan is for customers who do not want to configure AI API keys or generate content manually. Codersly team prepares posts, pages, or products and submits them through Cloud Publisher as draft or publish based on the workflow.
- Cloud Publisher access is available.
- AI Content, AI Audit, and AI Settings menus are hidden.
- Customer keeps publishing access connected.
- Codersly team handles content workflow according to the subscription plan.
Initial Setup
- Install and activate Codersly SEO free plugin.
- Install and activate Codersly SEO Pro.
- Activate your Pro license.
- Click Validate / Check License once after activation.
- Open General and configure default SEO behavior.
- Open Schema and configure structured data settings.
- Enable and review XML Sitemap.
- Configure Robots.txt if needed.
- Set up redirects and monitor 404 errors if required.
- For Own API plans, configure AI Settings.
- For Done For You Publishing plans, configure Cloud Publisher.
Dashboard
The Codersly SEO dashboard gives a quick overview of SEO features, plugin status, license state, and available Pro tools.
- Review plugin status.
- Check license activation state.
- Access available SEO modules.
- Open Pro settings based on the active subscription plan.
Menus and tabs are displayed according to the license and plan feature access.
General SEO
The General SEO section is used to control common SEO settings for posts, pages, and other supported content types.

- Go to Codersly SEO → Sitemap.
- Enable sitemap if it is not enabled.
- Select the content types you want to include.
- Save settings.
- Submit the sitemap URL to Google Search Console if needed.

Robots.txt

- Open Codersly SEO → Robots.txt.
- Review the current robots rules.

The Redirects module helps redirect old URLs to new URLs and reduce broken-link problems.
- Go to Codersly SEO → Redirects.
- Add the old URL in the source URL field.
- Add the new URL in the target URL field.
- Select the redirect type if available.
- Save the redirect.

Recommended Workflow
- Open Codersly SEO → 404 Monitor.
- Review the latest 404 URLs.
- If a URL is important, create a redirect to a relevant page.
- If the URL is spam or not useful, ignore or delete it.
Social SEO
Social SEO settings help improve how your pages appear when shared on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social networks.

Before Using AI Content
- Activate an Own API license plan.
- Go to AI Settings.
- Select your AI provider.
- Enter your API key and model.
- Save settings.
- Open AI Content and generate content.

- Select your provider.
- Enter your API key.

Cloud Publisher
Cloud Publisher is used for Done For You Publishing plans. It connects the customer website with Codersly publishing workflow.

Publisher Settings
Publisher Settings is the main Cloud Publisher configuration area.
- Open Codersly SEO → Cloud Publisher.
- Go to Publisher Settings.
- Configure publishing workflow options.
- Choose draft or publish behavior where available.
- Save settings.
Keep these settings updated before the Codersly team starts publishing or submitting content.
Subscription Plan
The Subscription Plan section shows the current plan, monthly usage, and available limits for the connected website.
Usage Display
Content: 0 used / 100 monthly Audit Pages: 0 used / 300 monthly Cloud Publish: 0 used / 30 monthly
The first number shows how much has been used. The second number shows the monthly plan limit.
Connection Status
Connection Status shows whether the website is connected with the Codersly panel and ready for publishing workflow.

If connection fails, retry sync or validate the license again.
Publisher Activity
Publisher Activity displays recent publishing-related actions for the connected site.

Pro features are not showing
- Make sure Codersly SEO free plugin is active.
- Make sure Codersly SEO Pro is active.
- Make sure the license is active.
- Click Validate / Check License.
- Clear cache and reload the WordPress dashboard.
AI Content, AI Audit, or AI Settings are not showing
- These menus are available only for Own API license plans.
- Check if the customer has an Own API subscription.
- Validate the license again after plan change.
- If the plan was changed from the panel, re-sync the license.
Cloud Publisher is not showing
- Cloud Publisher is available for Done For You Publishing plans.
- Cloud Publisher is hidden for Own API plans.
- Validate the license after changing the plan.
Plan still shows old package
- Update the subscriber plan from the Codersly panel.
- Save the subscriber record.
- Go to the WordPress plugin license page.
- Click Validate / Check License or deactivate and activate the license again.
AI request is not working
- Check if the API key is valid.
- Check if the selected model is correct.
- Check if the AI provider account has balance or quota.
- Try saving AI Settings again.
FAQ
Does Codersly SEO Pro work without Codersly SEO free?
No. Codersly SEO Pro requires the Codersly SEO free/base plugin.
Why are AI Content and AI Audit hidden?
AI Content, AI Audit, and AI Settings are available only for Use Your Own API plans.
Why is Cloud Publisher hidden?
Cloud Publisher is hidden for Own API users and available for Done For You Publishing plans.
Can I use my own OpenAI or Gemini API key?
Yes, if you purchase an Own API plan. Then AI Settings will be available in the plugin.
Does Codersly charge for my AI provider usage?
No. In Own API plans, your AI provider charges are handled directly by your provider account.
What happens if my license is inactive?
Pro-only menus will not be available and the plugin will show the activation / Pro placeholder message.
How do I refresh my plan after it is changed?
Go to the License page and click Validate / Check License. You may also deactivate and activate the license again.
